About the Author:
Pia Lauritzen (PhD) is a Danish philosopher and author who is on a mission to democratize the power of questions. Her books "Questions: Brief Books about Big Ideas (Reflections)" (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2024) and "Questions: Between Identity and Difference" (Aarhus University Press, 2017) dispel one of the biggest myths in Western civilization, showing that there is no such thing as "just asking." She holds a PhD in philosophy and has done postdoctoral research on how people living in different language cultures have different ways of understanding and using questions. Her 2019 Tedx Talk is titled, "What you don't know about questions", and she is a regular contributor to the global management magazine strategy+business.
In addition to writing and giving talks, she invented the digital Qvest and Question Jam platforms to help leaders and educators democratize the power of questions in their organizations and classrooms.
